Anyways, feedback and suggestions welcome.

Meanwhile, i got a question, should I try to make lighting realistic? Or should I try to make lighting aesthetic? This is especially an issue for dimmer scenes.

This album was not so interesting but first one was really funny and great fight when those tiny goblins stuffed one of the angels pussies with arrows.

second chapter was a bit lame fight because angels just got stuck by lighting or something and ended with pretty much instant death. In the end, they were beaten like dead horses.

It would be more spectacular if those goblins defeated them without using magic. for example latching onto those angels like swarm of ants and attacking them from various directions like in the first chapter
I need to look at your other series to be more acurate because maybe you already did all that :) But as I see you tend to finish fights with magic which is sort of cheating.

One problem with your pictures is that everything is super complex and it takes quite some effort to see what is going on there. so you probably need to make better choice of colors to make characters better contrast with background if that's possible.
as for example angel armor is same color as walls it should be gold or green. goblin characters also are very similar to the background.

But overall it is all excellent work.

Nice work. I can tell you've put a lot of effort into making this.

Lighting is one of the most important and insanely difficult steps to master. Try experimenting with other colored lights and phasing out your white lights.

I definitely wanted to reduce the use of the OP magic that I wrote myself into in the previous chapter, so I used this chapter to destroy the staff.

Will definitely try to make the fight last longer and more struggles in the future. Others have pointed out on pixiv that they still mostly fight like trash mobs.

As for color, will try to change their outfit a fair bit. This was the outfit from my very first chapter long ago, and I am seeing a lot of issues with it, like the skirt clipping etc.

As for the complexity of the scenes, I used to do about twice as many images per scene in different angles to try to capture all of whats going on, but I felt as if that was almost like stuffing it with fillers. Should I add more angles like before?

Biggest change that would give you immediate effects is using LRE in HS, and a preset LRE map.
Compound that with DoF settings and saturation and the sorts in LRE setting, you'll get it looking slick, difference for me is night and day.

If you're already using it then I'd suggest toying around with existing templates as it's hard to tell right now.
Perhaps you could try 4K skins and maps to make the textures look less blocky, and maybe use darker and bette blood projectors

Yes they can, just choose one that makes sense for your map, but I've opted to just use cubemaps for the background, though it is indeed limiting.

The new ones look better :) now if only I knew how to use Photoshop.
If you haven't gotten HSS, it'll help too with lighting especially when using the right skins.

As you can see the floor has awful texture, that's when I would opt for a cubemap, but then you'd need to custom add shadows to show the depth effects.

I'll give cube maps a go when I get a chance to make a backup of my files. Last time I did something big with mods, I broke it entirely.

I did want to make a series in modern times with normal people at some point that would be able to use higher res maps.

What is HSS btw?

No. Probably I was not very clear, but I mean image complexity, not scene complexity as there is a lot of detail. so when you look at the picture it looks almost as noise where you cannot recognize stuff easily and need to make some effort to see what is going on there.
this also happens in the manga where artists get overzealous with adding detail.

So you could try using simpler, flatter textures, select more contrasting environments even if that sort of reduces realism and also select other angles of view were characters do not pose in front of other items or characters of similar color.

for example >>35851 if you moved the camera a bit to the left, the angel would be visible in the background of the sky not in the background of the tower where she is barely visible.

But this is not something extremely serious wahst you absolutely need to do. Everything still looks prety good.

I did not see all your works yet , there is just so many.

But yes this size difference idea is pretty good,it looks very great when one angel is surrounded by many goblins attacking her.
I was thinking about demons of the same small size, aka Imps who have not that much fighting skill but can overwhelm hem with numbers.

As for other story ideas, I woud love to see how angels win/retreat temporarily while getting all stuffed with arrows and bleeding.

To include demonic element maybe just add one demon at first who is in control/manipulating those goblins.
so that after angels actually win against goblins they have do deal with the demon while being wounded already.

I think demon also should be a girl like angels but maybe a bit smaller.

It doesn't have to be red, green, and blue, just not pure white.

Pure white lights don't exist in the real world so in 3D software they shouldn't either if you're going for realism.

This example is an extreme but there are absolutely 0 white lights.

Oh, those two are Orcs, kinda wimpy looking facially speaking, but they are far bigger than goblins I have in this series. Still True that it looks a bit comical to see only two orcs that are much smaller than the angel lifting her I suppose. Will change that next time.

My posing strategy has been, getting into the mind of the characters and seeing what they could use and no going back after a decision made. That has caused me to have some unfortunately short fights in my first few angel vs goblins ones, and I am trying to extend the fight a bit here and will extend it more in future fights. Especially with someone who is supposed to be much much stronger as the case here.

And yeah, they'll eat it. How long do you think it will last them? :P

They certainly won't pass the opportunity when it arrives! Can ya blame them? :P

For now, this will be the last angel to die for a while as I can't think of a story reason for them to get immediately involved. It will go back to the Elves vs Goblins as the goblins are occupying what used to be a town here.

As for giving bits and pieces to the cast here, I can try making one last frame, almost like a last supper kinda thing where everyone eats some part of the angel partially carved up. But only one angle as I don't have enough time to cover multiple. Is that okay?
